I’m a Leo, so lion is king of the jungle

Without thinking I would be a lion, king of the jungle.

“Have no fear of anyone but feared by all” — that’s straight main character mode. A week of sunbathing on a rock, surveying the whole territory, deep roar that makes everything go quiet, and naps that are basically a lifestyle.

And the best part: lions get to be both fierce and social. Hunting, protecting the pride, then just lounging with my people all afternoon. No emails, no traffic, just respect.

I’m a Leo.

Leo + lion is the most on-brand combo I can think of.
Leos are all about: bold, warm, loyal to people, walk into a room and own it, and you’d rather be respected than ignored. Lions do literally the exact same thing, just with a mane and a louder roar.

So picking “king of the jungle, feared by all, afraid of no one” makes perfect sense. It’s not just about power for me, it’s about pride, presence, and protecting what’s mine.

I feel more like the Leo who leads by being calm and everyone just knows not to mess with me than the Leo who leads with charisma and keeps everyone hyped up,

The calm lion is the most dangerous kind. I’m just vibing in the sun, not making noise, but everyone around me knows exactly who runs things. No need to roar every 5 minutes. The presence does the work.

That’s peak Leo energy too — quiet confidence, loyal, and if someone crosses the line then suddenly it’s “oh, we ARE doing this?”

A week as that lion would be perfect for me: naps, respect, and my pride intact.

If i had to pick one lion activity to do all week — guarding territory, hunting, or just holding court with the pride — I would  choose Security.

Calm lion on watch, eyes half-closed but missing nothing. I’m not causing drama, I’m preventing it.

A week of that would look like: sunrise patrol, checking every corner of the territory, making sure the pride is fed and safe, and giving that one look that says “try me” without even moving. Then back to my rock to rest, knowing everything’s good because I’m there.

That’s very Leo of me too — protect first, lead by example, and everyone feels safe just because I’m around.

The calm protector lion doesn’t care about showing off. I’m watching the ones who can’t watch themselves- the cubs.

A week spent just making sure they’re safe, fed, playing without worry, and sleeping soundly because I’m on that rock nearby. No fear, no threats getting past me. That’s leadership without the noise.

I would rather be the shield than the spotlight.

I’ve got to teach the cubs one thing during that week- Courage.
Courage to survive predators.

That’s the real king lesson right there. Not just “be brave,” but “know when to stand, when to run, and when to roar so loud they think twice.”

I can gather the cubs at dusk, showing them how to read the grass, how to move together, how to trust each other. Then sitting nearby while they practice, so they know they’re safe to learn.

Because courage isn’t about not being scared. It’s about protecting the little ones anyway, and teaching them they can do it too.
