What are your strategies for SEO?
SEO = Search Engine Optimization.
In simple English: It is how you make Google (and now Meta AI, ChatGPT, etc) show YOUR business when somebody searches.
Example: If someone in Abuja types “where to buy inverter battery in Lugbe” or in UK someone types “Nigerian food shop near me” — SEO is what makes your shop come first, not your neighbor’s. So you don’t pay Google every time. You arrange your website / Facebook page / business profile well, so Google trusts you.
Best strategies in 2026 (no long story)
1. Google Business Profile — Most important for you in Abuja- If you have any shop or service, open Google Business Profile. Put correct address (Solutionist Estate, Lugbe), phone, photos, hours. People searching “near me” will see you. This is free.
2. Answer real questions people ask- Don’t write grammar. Write like how people search.- Bad: “We offer premium inverter solutions”- Good: “How much is 220Ah battery in Abuja? How long does inverter battery lasts?”- Google now loves helpful, human answers — not big English.
3. Use keywords properly. Think 5 things your customers type. Put them in your page title, first paragraph, and image names.- Example: “Solar inverter repair Abuja”, “UK rent help for Nigerians” — whatever your hustle is.
4. Make your site fast and mobile-friendly- Most people in Nigeria browse with phone. If your site takes more than 3 seconds, they go. Compress images, don’t put too many videos.
5. Get other people to mention you (Backlinks). If a big site or blog links to you, Google says “ah, this person is important.” You can get this by writing guest post, being listed in directory, or people sharing your post on WhatsApp/Facebook.
6. Fresh content + Consistency- Post at least once a week — tips, photos of work, customer review. Google loves active pages, not abandoned ones.
7. For 2026 — Optimize for AI search too- Now people as Meta AI and ChatGPT “best solar installer in Abuja”. To appear there, have clear FAQ on your site: “What, How much, Where, How long.” AI copies that.
